Mini Trio: Sour Cherry Almond, Peach, S’more!
This recipe for a trio of mini pies is the perfect way to entertain with ease, combining charm, flavor, and convenience all in one bite-sized treat. Because they’re individually portioned, guests can simply grab and enjoy without the fuss of cutting and serving, making them ideal for casual gatherings or more elegant affairs.

This recipe uses Wick’s 3″ Shells.
Ingredients
Yields: 1 tart (about 4 servings) | Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 35 minutes
- 18 Wick’s 3” Shells
- 14 oz. quality sour cherry pie filling
- 2.25 oz slivered almonds
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 peaches, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 cup Marshmallow Cream
- Whipped Cream for serving
Instructions:
Sour Cherry-Almond Mini Pies
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In small pan, melt butter on medium-low, then stir in slivered almonds and brown for 5 minutes or so, then remove from heat.
- Set out 8 Wick’s Pies 3” Shells and evenly distribute the quality cherry pie filling amongst them. Top with the almonds and bake for 20 minutes.
Simple Peach Mini Pies
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Combine sliced peaches, sugar, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl and let meld in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- Set out 8 Wick’s Pies 3” Shells and evenly distribute the peach slices amongst them. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes and let cool. Top with whipping cream.
S’More Mini Pies
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Set out 8 Wick’s 3” Shells and fill halfway with Nutella.
- Top with marshmallow cream.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then let cool. Top with a drizzle of Nutella.
Notes:
- For the Sour Cherry Almond, use the highest quality cherry pie filling you can find.
- For the Simple Peach, add a dash of cinnamon and a splash of bourbon for more depth of flavor.
- For the S’More, top with crumbled graham crackers and toast the marshmallow with a torch before serving. Customize as you wish!
